Yes folks…’s the first rehearsal of the month which means it’s time to shake those piggy banks again and bring your coins in to choir.   If you’re lucky enough to win the draw you walk away with half the takings, the other half being donated to choir funds.  Just look out for Julia (unless she finds you first….you have been warned!!).

Introducing our new Social Media rep – Emma Mills!

At last we can announce a replacement for Amanda McKee as our Social Media rep.  Amanda will be a hard act to follow but Emma Mills (2nd Alto) has very kindly volunteered for this role and her work will start right away.  Please do your damndest to support her efforts by visiting our Facebook page and Instagram app on your phones and liking the content.  The more likes we get, the more visibility we get as a choir, so it all really helps for our path to worldwide domination!

Music Practise

We are doing really well with Worthy is the Lamb and the final Amen chorus – do just keep plugging away at this using the practice aids available online.  We’ll continue learning this chorus on Wednesday.

Next Workshop – Saturday 14th March

Our next workshop will be Saturday 14th March at the URC.  You know the drill – doors open at 9am for a 9.30am start and we will continue until 2.30pm – dare I say it…..Coronavirus permitting!!

Printed Sponsorship packs still available…

…just ask Rachel  if you have someone in mind.  Meanwhile a digital version is available for you to download by clicking on this link.

And finally – why not join us in The Star after choir!

Whilst some of you are content to go straight home and tuck yourselves up in bed after choir, some of us diehards toddle off to The Star for a good old natter…we do lots of bonding and talk about all sorts of stuff – not just choir (although it is mostly – I’m not gonna lie 🙂 ). Anyway we would love to see more of you so do come along!!
