Lovely to see some old (as in familiar 🙂 ) faces return last Wednesday and also some new joiners – we’re now officially on the way to a splendid Christmas concert on Sunday 15th December!

It’s a good time next week to make sure you have every bit of music you’ll need.  Take a few minutes to visit our Music Programme & Practice page to make sure you’ve got everything, and if not please come and see our stand-in librarian!

Music practice for next week

Last week Graham continued with Behold New Joy and did Carol of the Bells.  Next week, the intention is to continue on with Behold New Joy but also to start What Sweeter Music (Rutter) – so do have a look at the audio files provided so that you can get familiar with it beforehand.

In fact – I’m really pleased to announce that we now have audio files on our website for members to help with every piece of music we’re doing for Christmas, with the exception of Nowell! Nowell which we’re looking at.  Just look for the button on the Music Programme & Practice page ….

An open invitiation for your families and friends to sing with us – 9th November!

The box office is open and the posters and flyers are ready and will be available for collection on Wednesday – please ask at the front desk.  We’ll have A5 flyers and laminated A4 posters for you to take and spread around Petworth and surrounding villages.

This is a great occasion for us to spread the message about our fantasitc choir and recruit new potential members, as well as for our own members to spend a wonderful day learning the Messiah choruses and to perform it to our family and friends at the end.  Also – if you know or are affiliated with any local choirs please ask them if they can spread the word amongst their members, just as we often do for other choirs.

Tickets for members (£10) are available at choir rehearsals, otherwise Tickets for everyone else (£15) are available from our online box office (click on the Book Now button).

Click on the poster below for more information.
