As promised our general online Box Office was opened on the morning of 1st November after a promising first 2 weeks.  If you’d like to give details to family/friends on the concerts to buy tickets please direct them to the Next Concert webpage.  You can now buy tickets by clicking on the Ticketsource icon whenever you see it on this website.

However please spare a thought for our librarian Rachel last Wednesday, running around giving everyone copies of music during the rehearsal – for heaven sake chaps….come on you can do this!! 🙂

So everyone should now have the following scores and if anything is missing please let Rachel know BEFORE we start singing(!):

  • A Winter’s Night (Cecilia McDowall)
  • Nowell! Nowell! songbook (Chris Williams)
  • Now Rejoice! Songbook (Brian Knowles)
  • There is no Rose (Ben Wili)
  • Carols for Choirs 1 (Green Book)
  • The Promise (Brian Knowles) – PDF to be downloaded from our Website page Music Programme & Practise and printed by your good selves – only limited stock is now available at choir pre-printed for a £1 fee)

Please visit our Music Programme & Practise page for full details and pictures of the books and scores. If you can’t remember how to log in there is a quick contact form on the login page to help you and we tend to respond very quickly!

David Burrows to conduct us on Wednesday!

Graham is singing in a concert on Wednesday so he has asked David, whom many of you will remember from previous rehearsals and our Mozart Requiem performance, to come and conduct us in his place. Please give him a big welcome and I’m sure the rehearsal will be very enjoyable and worthwhile.

We will be going over carols we’ve already done, including Three Kings and The Promise, so do your best to remind yourself of the music before Wednesday so that we can make the best out of the rehearsal time.

Update of All The Other Stuff Going On….

Tour – this has been a great success so far and we have outgrown the standard 63 seater coach.  THere is plenty of room for more people in the bigger coach so check out the Summer Tour webpage if you’re thinking of going.

Mince Pies/Cheese Straws – Sally is keeping a list of volunteers – please go and see her if you can help

Posters are ready and need distributing – please help Shelly/Angie with this task

Petworth Christmas Lights – This will be taking place on Sat 2nd December and Jeannie is looking for supporters/singers in the choir.  If you fancy soaking up the atmosphere and getting in some early carol singing, please let her know if you can be there to represent us.

That’s it for now – see you on Wednesday!
